I went to Ueno day trip on last saturday, so I wanna post how it went.

In Ueno, there several museums such as,

  • TOKYO NATIONAL MUSEUM
  • The National Museum of Western Art
  • National Museum of Nature and Science
  • The Ueno Royal Museum
  • Kuroda Memorial Hall
  • The University Art Museum – Tokyo University of the Arts
  • Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum
  • Edo-Tokyo Museum
  • Sumo Museum

In addition these, Ueno have Ueno Zoo (with Panda), Shrine, and Shinobazu-lake.

You can spend here not only a day but whole week.

Firstly, me and my friend went to Shinobazu-ike and took a swan boat.

Compared with size of this lake, there were too many boats, so its really hard to

avoid other boats^^

After walk around Ueno park, we decided to go to Ueno Zoo^^

I dont remember the last time I went Zoo. It could be since I was 10 years old.

One of main attraction in this zoo is “Panda”. There are 2 pandas (male and female) and came from China.

2 days later that I visited, Ueno zoo announced that this Panda (shin shin is her name) become pregnant^^

There are some photos for animals…

After leaving zoo, we are looking for somewhere to eat among the under railway bridge. And finally, we found a traditional Japanese style – “Yatai”
